About BESA ...
We are currently working on a comprehensive write-up of BESA's goals, but for now hopefully this brief list will suffice. BESA, as a student group, hopes to:
  • Provide a community for graduate students in Biomedical Engineering at UC-Davis.
  • Act as a source of information for students, hopefully answering questions people have about specific tracks of study, the preliminary exam, how to move on to candidacy, etc..
  • Hold open meetings where students can share opinions about the department with faculty and other students
  • Provide free food and organize fun BBQs!
